Haryana Hammers reached the finals last year but fell agonisingly short at the final hurdle losing out to champions NCR Punjab Royals. This year, the Hammers will hope to better their performances and emerge as winners of this season. They have a solid squad which is headlined by Indians Rajneesh (men’s) and Kiran (women’s).

Kiran won the bronze medal in 76 Kg women’s category in the 2018 Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast, Australia. She has also won Gold at the 2017 Commonwealth championships. Rajneesh has been phenomenal on the national stage as showcased by his win in the National Championship last year and this would be an opportunity for him to showcase his talent on an international platform.

Kiran and Rajneesh will be supported by International stars such as Moldovan Anastasia Nichita who won the World Junior Championship and Tatyana Omelchenko from Azerbaijan who was bronze medallist at the European Championship. Indian wrestlers like Parveen Rana and Seema will also look to impress in the upcoming season.
