Ludhiana, January 20, 2019: On the 2nd day of leg 2 defending champion NCR Punjab Royals will be taking on Delhi Sultans at Indoor stadium , Ludhiana. Up till now NCR Punjab has played one and was defeated in that by Mumbai Maharathi in the curtain raiser whereas Delhi Sultans played two and won one and was defeated in one . Delhi sultans were victorious while playing with UP Dangal and was defeated by MP Yodha. Both teams has shown mix performances and yet to prove themselves.
In the curtain raiser NCR Punjab won 3 out of 7 matches Mimi Hristova, Dato Marsagishvili, Bajrang Punia were victorious in their bout. Golden boy bajrang Punia the only Indian wrestler seems to be in good touch.
On 18 January Sakshi Malik helped her team Delhi Sultans to defeat UP Dangal after an equalizer. Besides, Sakshi Malik-Pankaj, Khetik Tsabolova and Pinki won bouts for their team. Pinki the young Haryana girl has wrestled exceptionally well up till now. In her first bout she thrashed CWC’ 16 champion Ritu phogat and in second bout she took down 2017 World Champion from Belarus Vanesa Kaladzinskaya. Today she will try to continue her consistency while locking horns with National Champion’ 18 silver medalist Anju.
Icon of NCR Punjab Royals Bajrang Punia will be taking on Ukranian Kviatkovski Andrey who is in great touch this season. It’s not going to be an easy bout for Bajrang to play.
